"As a sequel to the first volume of sexy, cool cuts
titled Nujazz Sessions Volume 2 resumes the party via 14 tracks
of some of the most provocative cocktails of jazz and electronica
grooves spun by DJs these days. Heading the set are remixes
of Carmen McRae's Straighten Up and Fly Right and Jimmy McGriff's
Tapioca by Jazelicious, followed by the funky beat of Swingaloo
from keyboardist Zigo. The mix continues with the club anthem
Down in the Basement by Rithma, while the temperature starts
rising through the Latin flavors of Tata Vasquez's Suite Guaracho
pt. 2 by Beatfanatic, See How It Sounds by DJ Rain and Rough
Times by HighEnd. Cyz adds the electro/bossa magic to the
party through the selection Daz Com D, while Michael Devellis
brings his driving force on the track Shout Mable. Somehow
balancing the madness of grooves are the mystic lounge sounds
of Tight by Subnautic and the moving sounds of Stateless on
Bringin' Me Down (Desha Mix). The frosting on the cake must
be the groovy sounds of keyboardist/producer Roy Shakked with
The Tao of Groove on One More Time and on the track Soul,
with the Silverlake Collective."
