"Just in time for summer, Groove Gravy Records has delivered
the perfect companion for those lazy hazy afternoons. Sultry
Bossa Nova and Samba influenced jams to get your head bobbing
for more than just the Caipirinhas (1 lime quartered, 1 to
2 tablespoons sugar, 2 ounces cachaca* & Ice cubes --
Mash the lime quarters in a cocktail glass with a wooden pestle.
Do not remove the pieces of crushed lime. Add the sugar and
cachaca. Fill the glass with ice cubes and stir well).
Classic tunes like Mo’ Horizons’ cover of "Hit
the Road Jack," MAW’s "Keyzer" and Soulstice’s
"Tenderly" along side some lesser known but equally
good material. If you have a penchant for anything Latin than
don’t hesitate for a moment, go grab this. You will
feel like a champ when your friends kick off their sandals,
sip their Caipirinhas and tell you what fabulous taste in
music you have. So transport yourself to Rio without the long
trip and costly plane ticket, you deserve it."

"5 Stars. Excelente. I was hooked on the first listen.
A great production of samba and bossa nova electronica, coupled
with some tunes you wouldn't normally associate with the genre,
makes this a stellar CD. I must have heard a dozen versions
of Felicidade by now but when I heard this version I was captivated
all over again. Definately recommended."
"5 Stars. Impressive. This is an impressive CD. Very
melodic and sophisticated but still grooves nicely without
sinking into "ambience." HIGHLY recommended!"
